Accessibility
One Strike wants everyone to be able to shop and learn on onestrike.co, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, screen magnifiers or voice control.
Our standard
We test this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Level AA in WCAG 2.2 includes everything in WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What we have done
- Every page has a skip to content link, a clear heading structure and a visible focus outline for keyboard users.
- Text and buttons meet the WCAG color contrast minimums, and links and buttons are big enough to tap.
- Product photos have text descriptions, and every form field has a label that screen readers announce.
- The video on our homepage plays without sound, has a pause button, and does not start by itself if your device is set to reduce motion.
- We check the site with automated tools and by hand, and we fix problems as we find them.
Parts run by other companies
Checkout is run by Shopify. Reviews and email sign up forms are run by Klaviyo. We pick providers that support accessibility and report any problems we find to them.
